I don't know what it is about fall that always make me wish I was a little kid again. Whenever the air starts to get it's chill, and the leafs are turning colors I get a little jealous of little kids who get to spend their days coloring pictures, learning about the Christopher Columbus/ Thanksgiving, and playing their hearts out at recess until snot runs down their face from the cold weather. Oh the good ole days :) I think I am reverting, when I was a kid all I wanted to do was be a "grownup", well now I would like to be a kid again. To say that life has been a little crazy lately for Grant and me would be an understatement. I think we all could agree that sometime when it feels like life is going too fast for us to keep up you also become a little envious of the little kids you come in contact with. What would it be like to know that Mom will have dinner ready at 5:30? Your laundry is going to miraculously be folded on your bed when you get home? Or better yet, Full House or Growing Pains will be on TV and that is the only thing you have to do? Yep, I'll go back. If any one comes across a Dolorian and a crazy old scientist who turned it into a time machine let me know. (who wouldn't want to go back to this? You can only get away with thinking stripes and flowers match until you're about 8.)

I love it! Georgey always complains to me about how he would love to be a grown up. Then I explain all about all of the chores you have to do as a grown up and he changes his mind. Funny, I remember having the exact same conversation with my Mom when I was little. It would be nice to take a vacation back to childhood for like a week. I wouldn't mind. I LOVE the pictures. I have never seen one of you when you were little. I want more!!!
I know what you mean. I would love to be a kid again. No more bills to pay, and watching TV, running around outside, and never having to stop to take a break because you have so much energy. I love the pic of you. I used to do the same thing with my clothes too.
Loved the pictures - what is it about fall that makes us think of things when we where kids? I remember flash light tag - great game to play in the fall after daylight savings quit - anyway great blog!!!!
Yes, and Yes. I more than agree that being young was a great time and I miss it sometimes.
p.s. Liz, umm, about your picture, umm, where do your pants end and the couch begin??
George
This post was so cute! I love that outfit you have on. Classic early 90's child outfit.
I love the pictures! :) I wish I could go back to the good ole' days of no responsibility sometimes too, I never realized how good I had it until it was gone. And, I love your outfit in the picture...it's a classic!
I had glasses JUST LIKE those when I was eight. Props on your fashion sense!
