We've been loving the warmer weather we're having, but sometimes we worry it's not quite warm enough for Hallie so she gets to wear her snowsuit on walks- it's pretty stinkin cute if you ask us :)
My sister Hillary came to visit for a week and we loved having her! We walked around downtown, shopped, and her and Hallie spent a lot of time playing together.Hallie has become a HORRIBLE sleeper lately, sooo we decided that the time had come to let her cry it out and learn that night time is sleep time- not eat every hour time. Tonight will be night three, and I have a feeling that she is going to rebel because somehow she knows that Dad's got work in the morning so Mom has to deal with the crying alone:( Night one went pretty well, but I think that most parents would agree that it breaks your heart to hear your baby crying and know that you are not going to go to them. She cried for 20 minutes on night one, Yeah we thought it would be worse too. THEN she woke up after 45 minutes and cried for a good 30+ minutes. Grant and I both were about to loose it when we went to check on her because the screaming had stopped, only to find that she was whimpering and doing the most pathetic little cry we've ever heard. Eventually she did sleep though, and she only woke up one time the whole night! Naps went well the next day, and bedtime went waayyy too easy (this is why I am worried about tonight, she is probably storing it up) She went to sleep at 8,woke up at 1am and 6am, and was up for the day at 8am. Success! Let's hope this isn't a fluke!
And A picture of Hallie lazying around with Dad on Sunday.
PS- I HATE Blogger, has anyone else had the problem where you're pictures show up as letters/computer jumbled annoyingness on the edit screen? Drives me crazy! Also I changed our settings so that we're not supposed to pop-up on search engines, or when people just hit the "next blog" option- But apparently we're still showing up on both. Grrrr :(

4 months
Hallie loves riding on Dad's shoulders
Dad's hair is great to hold on to up there...
She's getting close to rolling over. We're going to have to be careful about leaving her on the bed or couch, one of these days she'll surprise us and roll right on to the floor :(
We bought a stroller for Hallie and have been going for a lot of walks. She does pretty well with it, but acts like she is in shock -hyperventilating and spitting- when the sun gets in her eyes or wind blows on her.
Daddy taught Hallie how to play Peek-A-Boo
Where's Hallie?
There she is!
What you don't wear your pants this high? Yes, Grant is still teasing her- poor girl can't do anything about it.
Time is flying!

We'll see if this works...
So after spending the last hour adding email addresses to our blog, only to have blogger erase everything I had typed in, I give up.We decided that maybe it was time to go private because in the last month we started to get some pretty strange comments from people we had never heard of. I don't mind if friends, family, acquaintances, and even friends of friends look at our blog. BUT it is a little creepy when complete strangers, from every corner of the world begin popping up and commenting about how cute my baby is, or inviting us to look at their porn-blogs. Going private is a pain, and it would make me sad if some of my less "technologically savvy" family (mom), couldn't look at our posts anymore, so I have changed a bunch of settings on our blog to make it harder to just "stumble" upon. We'll give this a try for awhile and see if we get less spam and weirdos, and then if it doesn't work we'll go private.
