I can't believe we almost forgot C.A.D.

Cow Appreciation Day. There's not much else to say about that.

Hershey Vacation 2011

We spent a little time in the best place ever this summer, Hershey PA. Yes I can say we had sweet dreams the entire time we were there. When we were there we decided to try some of the local cuisine so we obviously went to the Olive Garden. Hallie thought this pirate hat mom made was the best thing ever.

This might be my new favorite place in the world. Why you might ask, well all I have to say is CHOCOLATE WORLD. enough said.
As you can see below Hallie also Loved chocolate world. She thought this little display was the greatest thing she had ever seen in her well traveled life.

We also had the pleasure of making her own candy bar while in chocolate world. First things first though was to make things sanitary, little did they know was they were also making things really really adorable as well.

Isn't that just the cutest little Liz you have ever seen. My vote is for hair nets all the time. Anyone else who supports this idea may leave a comment stating such. If you disagree I would encourage you to keep your comments to yourself.
Yes below are the world renowned Hallie and Liz bar unfortunately the Grant bar was deemed too amazing to release to the public.

After all that fun this little lady just could not stay up any longer. 10 minutes before the hotel she passed out and no matter what we did she refused to wake up. Well until we got her into the hotel to take a real nap, then it was party time.

What is the best thing to do after a 10 min nap. Well the obvious choice is to go make your own pretzels in a 5 million degree no A.C. no relief 150 year old building. Well we said heck yes to that idea. Liz actually chipped a tooth on that pretzel.

Hallie was so excited she jumped up and just hung from the sign. Here we are removing her.
The best pretzel maker ever the one the only H.C.

After this Liz made me take a 9 hour car ride home on my birthday. All in all Hershey was sweet!!!
Get it

Growing

 I've recently realized that Hallie's speech might not be as advanced as I have made it out to be in my mind. Rather, I think I have become bilingual in the past 6 months, and am now fluent in "Hallie".

Either way, some of the things that come out of her mouth are pretty hilarious, and I am a little sad each time she discards one of her trademark Hallie-isms for the more widely used English version.
Tonight I realized that she is improving rapidly, and I had better write some of these down while I still remember.

"pissy"= sippy cup
"efalent"= elephant
"Ebislith"= Elizabeth
"dimey"= diamond
"trubby maka"= trouble maker
"luke"= look
"Gant"= Grant (He's not the biggest fan of this one)
"peperogies"= peperoni
"calky milk"= chocolate milk
"bey-ban"= band-aid

"Mom, Mom luke, lilly bidy "= Mom, Mom look, little birdy
"self, Hallie self"= I want to do it by myself.
"no like it"= I don't like it (her current favorite)
"Mommy lil bebe tummy, Hallie bebe tummy, Daddy bebe tummy" = Mommy has a little baby in her tummy, I have a baby in my tummy, and Daddy has a baby in his tummy. (Trying to explain a new baby to a 1 year old is a bit tricky, so now she just thinks everyone has babies in there tummies.)
"fust nap, then Daddy hooome!"= First I'll take a nap, and then Daddy comes home!
